State of the Tri-Lakes Region
At the beginning of each year, the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation and Visitor Center hosts a luncheon to review the past year and to look forward to the new year from the Northern El Paso County perspective. Speakers include County Commissioners, local Mayors, and Town Trustees, all giving their views of what’s going on in their territories and their predictions for the future.
In 2018, the luncheon was held at Great Wolf Lodge with speeches by Darryl Glen, County Commissioner, District 1, Board President; Stan VanderWerf, County Commissioner, District 3; Chris Lowe, Town of Monument Town Manager; and John Cressman, Mayor of Palmer Lake. Stan VanderWerf gave a Power Point presentation and Terri Hayes, President and CEO of the Chamber, also spoke.
