At the beginning of each year, the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation and Visitor Center hosts a luncheon to review the past year and to look forward to the new year from the Northern El Paso County perspective. Speakers typically include Stan VanderWerf, County Commissioner District 3; Holly Williams, County Commissioner District 1; Don Wilson, Mayor of Monument; Bill Bass, Mayor of Palmer Lake; and Terri Hayes, President and CEO of the Tri-Lakes Chamber, EDC and Visitor Center, all giving their views of what is going on in their area and their predictions for the future.
