Each quarter the Chamber of Commerce hosts a luncheon. ​

These luncheons provide a fun opportunity to touch base with other members ​and to meet those who have recently joined as well as to hear key information to resource businesses.

Business owners spend years building successful companies, but success today doesn’t always translate into flexibility tomorrow. A business that depends too heavily on its owner, lacks leadership depth, or hasn’t built transferable value can limit an owner’s choices, whether the goal is growth, greater freedom from day-to-day operations, succession, or an eventual sale.

In this practical, conversational session, Renita Wolf will challenge business owners to look at their companies from a different perspective: not simply “When will I exit?” but “What do I want my business to give me, and how prepared is it to deliver it?”

Attendees will explore what makes a business stronger and more transferable, how owner dependency can quietly limit future options, and why preparing early creates greater flexibility even when a transition may be many years away.

Participants will leave with new questions to ask about their businesses and practical actions they can take now to strengthen the company and create more choices for the future.
