Quarterly member luncheon:

Each quarter the Chamber of Commerce hosts a lunch. These luncheons provide a fun opportunity to touch base with other members and to meet those who have recently joined.
Each luncheon, we have a speaker who provides relevant take-aways and inspiration. Daisy Alvarado will be joining us from BBSI to speak about HR "Easter Eggs," those humorous or unexpected scenarios that arise when leading a team.
“Has anyone ever come to your office asking if they can bring their cat to work? Or have you had an interview where they start naming all of the medicines they take, their medical conditions, and operations they have had, and you don’t know what to do? Ever wonder what to do or what to say when the unexpected happens at work? You think you have seen and heard it all, but there is always something else that tops that. Join us on September 10th, where we aim to lighten the difficult parts of business operations with a bit of humor and offer guidance on managing these unforeseen interactions with your team. We’ll highlight important laws to keep in mind when navigating these tricky situations.”
Daisy has an extensive background in Human Resources and Recruiting and serves as a Human Resource Consultant providing strategic guidance to clients in recruiting, compliance, training, and employee relations for seamless business operations.
